The Highland Center is a place where ideas manifest through action; where community members congregate and spend time together; and where arts and culture can be explored and celebrated. Located in the former Highland Elementary School building, the center is a non-profit community hub that offers Highland County residents a range of resources to advance business, agriculture and the arts.
The Center just underwent a 13-month, $3-million-dollar renovation and now features a new retreat and conference space, as well as a remodeled business incubator with fiber optic Internet. To support Highland’s agricultural and food-based business community, the center has two USDA-inspected commercial kitchens, a walk-in freezer and refrigerator and dry-goods storage. In addition to hosting the local farmers’ market, the center houses tenants that include a mix of small businesses, individual artists and non-profit organizations.
The Highland Center accelerates the successful development of small businesses and non-profits through support services, resources, affordable space and networking opportunities. Contact us to find out how the Center can help you start or grow your own business.
